2nd UNESCAP Regional Workshop on the Enhancement of ICT Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities

This workshop aims to build the capacity of policymakers and stakeholders of developing countries in the Asian and Pacific region in the policy area of enhancing ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities (PwDs) in response to ICT development which could provide an opportunity for PwDs on the one hand or impede the social inclusion of PwDs on the other hand. The workshop also aims to update the recommendation on ICT accessibility for PwDs, adopted by the 1st ESCAP Regional Workshop on the Enhancement of ICT Accessibility for PwDs in 2008, which the developing countries could refer to in order to enhance ICT accessibility for their PwDs.
