The M-Enabling Summit 2011, a joint initiative of the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict)
and E.J. Krause & Associates (EJK), was the first global program solely dedicated to participants in the emerging ecosystem for mobile
accessible and assistive technologies, applications and services.
The international visitors program of M-Enabling Summit was developed in cooperation with the Federal Communications Commission and
the International Telecommunication Union (the United Nations Specialized Agency for ICTs), mobile service providers, industry, apps developers,
rehabilitation professionals, special educators and organizations of seniors and persons with disabilities. The conference and showcase attracted
more than 365 decision makers participating in the mobile industry and expert users and professionals from 30 countries.
