Accessible ICTs & Personalized Learning
Promoting Assistive Technologies for Students with Disabilities: New Directions for Policy Makers and Educators  

A session organized by G3ict with UNESCO’s participation, hosted by Microsoft

Session Description: In November 2011, UNESCO, in partnership with Microsoft Corporation, organized a meeting entitled "Accessible ICTs and Personalized Learning for Students with Disabilities: A Dialogue among Educators, Industry, Government and Civil Society."  The meeting was held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.   The objective of this event was to facilitate a deep and multi-stakeholder dialogue on the challenges of and practical solutions for promoting personalization through technology in the classrooms for students, particularly with learning difficulties and physical disabilities.  This session will be a panel discussion of some the participants and will be an opportunity to explore the summary report of the event.
