International Conference on Disability and Development: Rights, Politics and Practice
  • Oslo, Norway
  • October 11-12, 2012
  • Venue: Quality Hotel 33, Østre Aker Vei 33, 0581 Oslo
On 11-12 October 2012, the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights together with the Harvard Law School Project on Disability organise an international conference on disability rights and development in Oslo, Norway. The conference is inter-disciplinary and aimed at both scholars and practitioners with an interest in the area.

The Conference seeks to analyse a range of questions concerning how disability rights impact the field of development. Papers that will be presented at the Conference focus on how to ensure that disability rights are mainstreamed into the development processes, and how to ensure that disabled persons are included and can participate in society on equal terms with others.

Registration to the Conference is now open. Visit the website for more details
