The Council on Student Disability Issues (COSDI) and CUNY Assistive Technology Services (CATS) invite you to register today for the 4th Annual CUNY Accessibility Conference. Join us at John Jay College on Friday, April 5th, 2013 from 9 am to 2 pm as CUNY disability services professionals, assistive technology specialists and other experts in the field come together to present informative workshops on innovative programs, services and products that help increase access to CUNY by students with disabilities.
Presentation topics will include Autism and Asperger’s, Employment and Disability, Reading and Writing Software, Learning Disabilities, Student Veterans Services and Video Captioning.
Addressing the CUNY Accessibility Conference as Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Frank D. Sanchez, CUNY Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. For over 20 years Dr. Sanchez has worked to advance campus student services, programs and policies aimed at increasing student success and degree completion. Dr. Sanchez has also directly managed housing and residence life systems, multicultural affairs operations, disability services and academic success curriculum and resources. Come hear Dr. Sanchez as he shares his thoughts on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in providing access to students with disabilities at CUNY.
