DEEP 2014, supported by The Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technology (G3ICT, an initiative of the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development) will once again bring thought leaders in inclusion together in Toronto. DEEP presents a unique opportunity for corporations and non-profit organizations committed to building a culture of inclusion, accessibility and diversity to demonstrate their support and thought leadership in improving accessibility and closing current gaps.
In the tradition begun in 2012, this think tank will engage a diversity of fresh perspectives, new ideas, together with seasoned experience, and insight gained from failures and successes. DEEP participants know that digital inclusion is necessary and urgent for individuals with disabilities who are currently marginalized and for society as a whole, which allows us to focus our time together during the think tank to design strategies, plans, collaborative projects, cross-sector collaboration and new disruptive ways to foster prosperity for all. This year, the central theme of our discussions will be, Prosperity for All.
DEEP 2014, an invitational think tank of 150 international experts and decision makers as well as upcoming researchers in the field will engage in substantive in-depth discussion about implementation strategies for inclusion of persons with disabilities and the economic benefits that have been demonstrated or can be expected by inclusive policies and practices.
