About the session:
Accessible ICT – what are we talking about? A panel discussion covering all aspects of creating accessibility for all, and how accessible ICT and inclusive education connect.

February 12: Towards UN Habitat III: Accessible and inclusive urban development | Session chair: Luis GALLEGOS, Chair of G3ict and former Permanent Representative of Ecuador to the UNO at Geneva (Innovative Practices and Policies – Presentations)

About the session:
In October 2016, the Third Global Conference on Housing and Sustainable Development (Habitat III) will take place in Quito, Ecuador. In this session experts explain the Habitat III process and discuss how an inclusive and accessible urban development can be achieved in the future.

The Zero Project Conference 2016, convened by the Essl Foundation, the World Future Council and the European Foundation Centre, will:
  • Highlight up to 100 Innovative Policies and Innovative Practices concerning Inclusive Education and/or ICTs from around the world;
  • Organize close to 30 plenary sessions and workshops, plus an exhibition area; and
  • Gather 500 innovators, decision-makers as well as opinion leaders from more than 70 countries.
