What are the Biggest Issues in Aging Over the Next 10 Years?
What are the biggest changes that are going to be shaping the world over the next 10 years? That’s a question that the Future Agenda seeks to answer. This is a global non profit project that is the largest (and only, that we know of) "open foresight” initiative. Rather than an expensive consulting project paid for by one deep-pocketed corporation that is read once by the client and then filed away to get dusty, the Future Agenda uses an 'open source' Creative Commons model that seeks input from hundreds of people in a series of workshops on key themes, then shares the output for free.

USA: 25 Years Later, We Should Be Proud That The ADA Triggered An Expansion Of Human Rights And Protections Globally
When disability advocates started talking about the need for an international disability rights treaty, the frame of reference was the Americans with Disabilities Act. The legislation signed into law by President H.W. Bush, on July 26, 1990-the ADA-was the catalyst and the foundation on which the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) was built. Now is an appropriate time to acknowledge that the ADA and CRPD are close siblings.

Why Creating Accessible Digital Products is Important
Creating an accessible digital product means anyone can use it. Because digital technology is a vital role in everyday life, designing digital products that are accessible benefits people with or without disabilities, as well as businesses. When a digital product is accessible, it provides equal access to all. It offers a competitive advantage to businesses who can increase their audience and market their products to a larger customer base.
