WCAG 2.1 Now Reaches Candidate Recommendation Stage - Working Group Begins Gathering Implementation Experience
WCAG 2.1 reaches the Candidate Recommendation stage. The main purpose of this step is ensure the standard can be implemented. While the content is considered stable at this stage, it could change a little based on implementation experience. Over the next few months, the Working Group will be gathering examples of websites that meet the WCAG 2.1 success criteria. The Working Group is currently seeking public suggestions of webpages that meet WCAG 2.1.

New Policy: Yale Websites Should be Accessible to those with Disabilities

Govt Launches 100 Websites with Improved Accessibility for People with Disabilities
The Government of India under its Accessible India Campaign launched 100 accessible websites of various state governments and union territories for persons with disabilities. The project is being executed by Education and Research Network (ERNET), India, an autonomous scientific society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, where 917 websites across 27 States & UT have been chosen to be made accessible.
