A Deaf Woman Post Revoked over Costs of Accommodations

Tell a Friend

The Independent (UK) article below reports on a case of a deaf woman in the
British Foreign Service whose new post was revoked because of the costs of
her accommodations.

"An employment tribunal judge will rule later this autumn on the case, which
campaigners say has implications for the ability of people with a disability
to rise to the highest echelons of Britain's diplomatic corps and other
professions."
