Poland: Prime Minister Signs Resolution to Begin Implementation of Accessibility+ Program

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has signed a resolution regarding the Accessibility+ program marking the beginning of its intensive implementation, the Ministry of Investment and Development (MIR) announced
The ministry stressed that the Accessibility+ program is a response to demographic changes taking place in society – currently about 12 percent of Poles, i.e. 5 million citizens, have some form of disability. The Accessibility + program focuses on adapting public spaces, architecture, transport and products to the needs of all citizens.
The Accessibility+ program was adopted by the government in mid-July.
