Australia Based App Recognised for Work on Integrated Living

March 15, 2019

The Melbourne-based national organisation was recognised in the Best Smart Care Technology - Solution category and are joint finalists with integratedliving Australia in the Innovation of the Year - Care Model category.

With continued growth across Australia and imminent expansion into New Zealand and Asia, hayylo has also recently won the ITAC2018 awards for Best Solution Providing Consumer Independence and Joint Overall Winner for 2018.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of hayylo Gregory Satur says the company has become an industry leader in aged, disability and home health care innovation since launching in 2016.

“To be recognised again for our work around bringing together fragmented health information into a consolidated channel for customers and their families, shows how invested the community services sector is around solving issues not only for today but the future,” he says.

“In the backdrop of the Royal Commission, we see this as such a positive story around how technology and the desire to help societies most vulnerable people, can be fused together for great outcomes. We look forward to continuing to support communities across Australia and around the world”.

hayylo’s cloud and mobile based technology helps providers deliver better care to their customers through data integration and enhanced communication features. The platform is continuing to develop consumer features to help people enjoy better health and wellbeing, and remain independent and supported at home for longer.

According to hayylo, one of the biggest issues elderly customers face is keeping track of which carer is coming to visit them, and when, making it difficult for them to plan their day.

Elderly customers and their families can access all the information they need through the app to check what services are on the horizon, request service changes, send queries, and give ratings and feedback.

Terrence Fielder has lived on his own since his wife passed away several years ago, and relies on integratedliving Australia, who are partnered with hayylo, to provide him with domestic assistance and travel during the week. Twelve months ago, one of Mr Fielder’s carers installed the hayylo app on his phone.

Mr Fielder uses the app to check his scheduled services throughout the week.

“It’s now easier to manage my days and my life in general as I can plan ahead,” he says. “Now I don’t need to call as much, and I am kept up to date with everything.”

“Give it a go. It’s easy!”

Winners of the Eldercare Innovation Awards will be announced during the 7th Asia Pacific Innovation Awards Ceremony and Dinner in Singapore on 15 May, which will be held in conjunction with the 10th International Ageing Asia Innovation Forum, Changing the Future of Ageing in Asia Pacific, on 14-15 May
