E.J. Krause & Associates and G3ict (the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies) have announced event dates for the third edition of the M-Enabling Summit which will take place on June 9-10, 2014 in Washington, DC.

BETHESDA, Maryland (October 08, 2013) —

M-Enabling Summit logoThe M-Enabling Summit aims to capture the many new opportunities to serve the fastest growing user group in the mobile marketplace, seniors and users with disabilities. Setting a unique stage for identifying emerging trends, breaking technological developments, and future innovations in accessible and assistive mobile applications and services, the Summit is the only global conference and showcase specifically addressing the demand for accessible and assistive mobile solutions for seniors and users of all abilities.

More innovation and creativity than ever are expected at the 2014 M-Enabling Summit. Global mobile accessible solutions and technologies are rapidly spreading in the mobile marketplace driven by lower price points and enhanced functionalities. These market dynamics drive new audiences of professionals, corporations, and service organizations seeking solutions to adapt their mobile applications and services to this growing market of seniors and users of all abilities.

Meanwhile, legislations around the world, such as the 21st Century Communications Act in the United States, further promote innovation and the need to ensure global compliance with accessibility requirements. The 2014 M-Enabling Summit will provide attendees with a strategic overview of the latest opportunities for the industry, while drilling down on technological advances in four key sectors: Seniors Services, Rehabilitation, Special Education, and Veterans.

The 2014 event, expecting over 600 participants, will continue to focus on accessibility as a driver of mobile innovation across the board, and as a critical competitive attribute for many industries, products and services.
