Scope & Role

The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), a division of G3ict, advances accessibility worldwide by strengthening the knowledge, skills, and professional pathways of individuals and organizations. IAAP serves as a global hub for education, training, and professional development, helping practitioners build the competencies needed to integrate accessibility into digital content, products, services, and environments.

Through its learning programs, certifications, and community networks, IAAP supports career growth for accessibility professionals and helps organizations embed accessibility into their strategies and day‑to‑day operations.

Since joining G3ict in 2016, IAAP has become a leading global provider of accessibility education and credentialing, with nearly 10,000 active members and more than 10,000 certifications issued across 110 countries (as of January 2026)
